On October 20th, the 2023 China Advanced Cemented Carbide&Tools Exposition was held at the China (Zhuzhou) Advanced Hard Materials and Tools Industry International Trade Center. More than 500 globally renowned manufacturers and brands participated in the exhibition, attracting over 200 application manufacturers and 10000 industry participants. The exhibition scope includes raw materials, cemented carbide, metal ceramics and other superhard materials in the entire hard material industry chain, tools and products, molds, and supporting equipment.

Zhuzhou is the birthplace of the cemented carbide industry in New China. As early as 1954, during the “First Five Year Plan” period, Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Factory was established. After nearly 70 years of hard work, Zhuzhou has developed into the largest cemented carbide production base in China. There are 279 cemented carbide enterprises led by Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group, accounting for 36% of the total number of enterprises in the same industry in China. Four national technological innovation platforms such as the State Key Laboratory for Cemented Carbides have been built There are 2 material analysis and testing centers and 21 provincial-level technological innovation platforms. At present, Zhuzhou’s market share of cemented carbide products ranks first in the world, and the “Capital of Cemented Carbides” business card is renowned both domestically and internationally.
